The Table Queen Bush squash is a compact version of the classic Table Queen squash, originally developed by the Arikara tribe and a longstanding staple in American gardens. These healthy, bush-type plants produce excellent yields of nearly black, acorn-type squash with flavorful yellow-orange interiors.

Suitable for containers and raised beds, the Table Queen Bush can be successfully grown in whiskey barrels, yielding 2 to 3 squash per plant. Even when grown on flat ground, these plants require minimal attention and still provide generous harvests of 5 to 6 fruit per plant with just occasional watering.
